Dress Code
Why dress code makes a difference? Can you see a difference? Having your child in the appropriate dress and hair helps us see body placement, brings the class together as a group, and is less distracting for the kids, helping them focus.
- No jewelry or big tutus allowed.
- Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or ballet bun (for ballet classes).
- No undergarments with tights (your tights are your underwear)
- Specific dress codes for each class:
- Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes
- Tap: Form fitting dancewear (preferably black) and black jazz/tap shoes
- Jazz: Form fitting dancewear (preferably black) and tan jazz shoes
- Lyrical: Form fitting dancewear (preferably black) and lyrical or jazz shoes
- Acro: Form fitting dance wear or AADS Tank tops/black shorts
- Hip Hop: Form fitting dancewear (preferably black) and hip hop shoes/tennis shoes (that are not worn outside)
